If your old computer is only a few years old and has slowed down recently, then there’s every chance that an hour on our work-bench, plus perhaps £10 to £30 in hardware costs, will speed it up very significantly; more often than not, there is actually no need to buy a replacement computer if your old one is less than 3 to 5 years old. So, for an estimated total expenditure of perhaps about £65 you can often save the cost of a new computer.
